FIFA Confederations Cup 2017: Group Stage

Recommended Posts

Let's hope Portugal go out at the group stage so we get Alves at Ibrox as soon as possible. And luckily there is a real possibility they may go out at the expense of Russia and Mexico.

Looks great mate must take up a lot of your time

Where I am it would be impossible or expensive when it is possible. There are water restrictions almost every year which limit the ability to water/sprinkle gardens. And even if there weren't it's so hot and dry it would likely cost hundreds of dollars a month to stop it turning to dust.

My first year in Oklahoma I saw something like 7 to 10 days of rain in total and by days I mean a day when rain might have fallen for 10 minutes and just disappears in the hear before ever getting the chance to soak in.

Sun splitting the skies in sunny Baillieston today, done some gardening before son & daughter turned up with Fathers day gifts (Whisky galore!) Hic! Garden looking magnificent now, can't say the same of myself.

Water is the spring of life. While we complain when it rains we really shouldn't as it is a wealth that we should not take for granted.

Nobody complains here when it rains though having lived in Scotland bitching about rain most of my life the Oklahomans would soon change their tune if it was falling on them all year round.

As I previously mentioned during my first 12 months in Oklahoma I would estimate I saw a total of around 7 to 10 days which had any rain at all. I read somewhere that it's rare for 7 to 10 days to pass in Scotland with no rain.

When you get over 50 consecutive days with temperatures over 100 Fahrenheit coupled very high humidity you start wishing for rain. Or at least I do.

I agree mate and that would kill me. Especially the humidity. I believe it is also very humid on Bermuda where Craig lives, that is why I am not one bit jealous of his weather. I just couldn't handle it. I would be wringing my shirt out on a 15 minute basis.

The same idea I had mate. My problem was though - Fathers Day and my kids all brought up cider because it was so warm. I ended up rubber and didn't see a ball of the football being kicked.

Your garden is a bit tidier than mine too. :D2
