Rangers captain Lee Wallace and bride Steph flooded with messages of congratulations after his new wife posts wedding picture

 

The Gers star married long-term partner Steph on Sunday as he prepares for the Ibrox side's Europan fixtures

 

RANGERS captain Lee Wallace became a husband yesterday after tying the knot with long-term girlfriend Steph.

 

The pair have been together since 2009 while Wallace was playing for boyhood club Hearts.

 

And they finally celebrated their wedding day after a ceremony at West Lothian’s Carlowrie Castle.

 

The Gers skipper has been out of action since early April after suffering an abdominal injury.

 

But he put a bad period behind him as he celebrated his big day with new wife Steph.The Ibrox WAG posted a photo to Twitter and was flooded with messages of congratulations from friends and supporters.

 

There will be no honeymoon for the happy couple though, after Gers boss Pedro Caixinha gave Wallace a 48-hour window too get married, meaning he will be returning to pre-season training on Tuesday.
