It's all to do with you suggesting you have some level of foresight or crystal-ball gazing. Gazza liked a drink, even on match days, he didn't turn out too badly. As previously said, seems you would prefer an opportunity to be proven right in failure rather than wrong in success. It is laughable to complain about being torn apart when none of it has even had the chance to come to fruition. Deary me indeed. We all want it to be a brilliant signing, but he does represent something of a punt, beyond that which, to a greater or lesser extent, every acquisition represents.
