Season ticket money all for the squad

Recommended Posts

How does this "realistic prospect of exceeding the record sales of more than 43,000 achieved this season" from the most recent statement

reconcile with

"CLUB Chairman Dave King has again thanked fans for the exceptional support this season that saw a record of more than 43,000 season tickets purchased.

This is the maximum amount of season tickets that can be sold to supporters given the need to reserve a complete section of the stadium for away supporters." from last years statement.

Is the club looking at changing the allocation/location of away fans ?

Either that or the statement is somewhat of an overhyped advertising piece that is not paying strict attention to accuracy.

I'd also add that I'm surprised the level of renewals is that high. I can instantly think of 8 seats that won't be renewed and another 2 that haven't got round to it yet, and that's out of a fairly small pool of people.

From an even smaller pool, I have similar stats (4 out of 6 not renewing). Makes this good news as surprising as it is welcome.......and leaves one hoping that they've got their sums right!

Agree - side on view for a ST. I used to sit in the club deck and loved it, if you get near to the half way line up there then its a great view to watch - the stairs are a bit if a hike mind!

Congrats on becoming a batchelor haha.

Been over 22 years Gribz - in all honesty I'm not looking forward to it right now - though when I am home alone in peace and quiet and the wife cant complain at me then I will see the positives :D

That crossed my mind too Steve. It's a great figure of almost 35k though. It looks like all Bears are rallying the cause as usual!

Question for all you guys :

My son is moving up north this summer (12 yrs old) and the wife is moving back to Scotland to be with him whilst I stay here in Bermuda by myself - don't all be getting jealous at the same time :ninja:

I am looking to get season tickets for them - I always liked the Govan but where would you recommend ? I'm not sure I want to try to get them tickets in the Family Stand as I prefer to watch a game side-on.

Thanks

Wife and a 12 year old? the Govan is a great view as is the main stand, but the main stand may be slightly more family friendly.

If you're looking for 2 together pretty central Club Deck will probably offer the most choice, bit of a climb but good view. Be lucky to pick up 2 together in the centre of the Govan Rear but it does happen.

FS thanks for arranging my tickets. There can't be much better seats than the ones you supplied me with and also a drink in club 72. Right at the front of the Sandy Jardine Rear and almost on the centre-line there can't be many better views than that. I would imagine the chance of getting a season ticket there now would be very slim to non-existent though.

Any time.

They don't come up very often, we've had those two since Bar72 was built.
