Match Preview: General Caixinha Takes Command

Recommended Posts

Great stuff, BH but in our present state I'd take Stonewall Jackson as manager with possibly Jeb Stuart as assistant.

As you know Lee struggled without Jackson who was a victim of friendly fire and Jeb Stuart was absent at the critical time having misunderstood his orders.

Strange as it was reported that Toral was injured and gone home.

Still glad to have him in the DMF role.

A surprise but welcome recall for Hodson.

Front three as I predicted.

Many thanks for the preview!

I'll only get to see the first half before I'm out for the rest of the day at a relative's 70th birthday celebration - fingers crossed we're in the lead by then!

We've played well, but I'd have liked to have seen us control the ball a bit more; we've been attacking, but it just gives them control of the ball quicker. We have control now, but it's taken a sending off.

I like the directness; we've been quite good at creating chances. Windass looks much better further forward, and Garner has been excellent. Toral's passing ability in DM has been crucial too.
