Sinclair was saluted by the Bhoys faithful just days after Rangers fan Paul Kenny admitted making racial gestures during last Saturday’s Old Firm clash at Glasgow Sheriff Court.

CELTIC midfielder Scott Sinclair has delivered an anti-racism message following Celtic’s 4-1 win against St Johnstone.

The Hoops midfielder*held aloft a top which read ‘Love Celtic, Hate Racism’ after the final whistle.

It comes just days after Rangers fan Paul Kenny admitted making racial gestures during last Saturday’s Old Firm clash at Glasgow Sheriff Court.

Parkhead boss Brendan Rodgers revealed Sinclair’s team-mates had been helping him over the trauma.

But the 28-year-old had his own say this afternoon as he delivered an anti-racism message*with a t-shirt given to him by the Bhoys faithful.

A black day for Scots football

On January 2, 1988 Walters became the first black player to turn out for Rangers. The abuse he was subjected to that day, and at Tynecastle two weeks later, ended any foolish notion that, while Scottish football was blighted by religious bigotry, it was at least immune to the vile expressions of racial intolerance then infecting the English game. Whenever Walters' name is mentioned in this county these two afternoons are seared in the mind. They have come to define the winger's three-and-a-half years north of the Border; more than his artistry, more than a stash of medals or a goals to games average of one-in-three during his 100 matches.

I actually can't believe the brass neck that lot have. Was it not only this season that they were firing anti-Semitic abuse around Parkhead? It seems that their powers of revisionism have increased amazingly recently. This is also during their "best season ever" in which they managed the worst result in Scottish football history. But, of course, that never happened.

Any decent media outlet would be calling them out for this.
