That is essentially a fee beyond the "developement stuff" that we paid for e,g, Rossiter. If we had waited till summer, we would be due some 90k (according to the same sources), not the 250k we paid for Rossiter. Maybe an age thing, as Gilmour only turns 16 in the summer, IIRC. Essentially, he is about to sign a pre-contract construct with Chelsea, so the Blues get him ahead of other teams interested. Not necessarily - we have absolutely no idea whether he will make it or not.
