No more Old Firm Hogmanay clashes

Recommended Posts

I think we should cancel the fair fortnight in July and have it in November because ice cream men are hit hard in July when everybody and his granny swans off to Benidorm. Oh and incidentally the pubs too and apparently we need to organise everything around them.

Come back here and run for office JFK, you get my vote! The worlds gone mad. Oh but wait, yeh we all know that..........Speaking of July though, will we not have EL qualifiers that clash with the 12th celebrations both here and in NI??? Oh noooooooooooooooo!! Shock horror!!!

Your a bit out of touch JFK.

The Glasgow Fair exists in name only; it's a long time since it was regarded as a trade holiday.

And even longer since Benidorm was a preferred holiday destination for most Glaswegians.

This is an utterly ridiculous decision; sacrificing a long standing traditional fixture only just reinstated (well almost) on the most spurious of grounds. What about consulting the fans, or don't our views count?

Will it go back to 2/3rd Jan possibly?

It was a rhetorical question, Ian, I know only too well that Mr D regards fans as cannon fodder.
