Rangers v Motherwell- April's Full day

We will need to do better than that.

The half time changes were bad. The team didn't look like it knew what to do in the second half.

it didn't look like it knew what to do in the first half, or, more delicately, didn't know how to cope with Motherwell (fucking Motherwell! At Ibrox!)

Abject first half, absolutely terrifying, gung-ho second half that almost paid off, but also almost blew up in our face.

My left ventricle isn't going to hold out for the season if we do that every week!

In peace there's nothing so becomes a man

As modest stillness and humility:

But when the blast of war blows in our ears,

Then imitate the action of the tiger;

Stiffen the sinews, summon up the blood,

Disguise fair nature with hard-favour'd rage;

Then lend the eye a terrible aspect;

We must not forget the appalling opening 45. Pedro C's 3 substitutions will be the talking point, but prior to them the performance was piss poor, and looking like the players had returned to Sq. 1.

As for your ventricles, gird up your loins, man, gird up your loins!!

An interesting take on anatomy ;)

Just back in from the game. First half we were very poor on the ball and off it. There didn't seem to be any type of pressure on the ball when we lost possession to get it back. The midfield got bullied heavily in that first 45 mins but in fairness to them many of those challenges were fouls which the referee had decided were perfectly acceptable. Needles to say the first strong tackle from a blue Gersy resulted in a booking. That pretty much sums up the first half of the game. Second half followed more or less the same pattern With many unchecked challenges, lunges and fresh air swipes etc left unfettered by the referee or his assistants whom offered very little in terms of calling any decision correctly. We need to be much tougher in these types of games but at the same time it would be nice to have official from the middle of the park and running the lines who knew what they were doing.

One thing for sure.... Pedro seems intent on making it very interesting watching us in his term of office.

Those subs were like :shock: - but it was both nerve-wrecking and exciting to watch....

I thought our tempo was much better 2nd half. Very open at the back obviously but I thought Toral had a fine game in there.

Both keepers had some pretty spectacular saves.
