What needs to go along side this though, is clarity over roles, responsibilities and delegated authorities. Additionally, the club board need to set a framework for making time critical decisions that are normally reserved for RIFC non-execs oversight, but where they are not available. That's much more important than whether the board has a PLC non-exec on it, which really shouldn't make any difference to the responsibilities of the senior staff (including directors) of the club. 0 Quote Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

Things like delegation of authorities don't get distributed outside of the Board, senior management and staff are made aware of the delegated authorities relating to them and their department. So we as fans wouldn't, or shouldn't, be privy to this stuff. Agreed, and its all very normal stuff that arises from governance reviews.
