INTERVIEW | Dave King | March 2017

DK was good on Talksport - simplified things very well. The Europa League and Merchandise agreement are obviously the 2 key issues and aims. Qualify for one and sort out the other puts the club on the next level and next stage to progressing as the No.1 club again.

We have to remember we are only 7 months back into the top flight and a return to the top is going to take time after the shambolic incompetent destructive mess that this board had to pick up on.

Getting into the Europa League Group stages from Q1 will be a massive task; unless there is a major step up in the quality of the squad between now and 29 June.

Unless we have documentary evidence that Nottingham Forrest contacted Warburton &Co before their "resignations" were accepted; then it's hard to see how we can make a case for compensation. The agent simply asking the question on a hypothetical basis won't be near enough.

I hate to say I agree with you. I think we were sucker punched by Forest. They get their man without compensation and we have to pay Warburton.

I am shocked by the allegations in the link given as they are said to be fact from the TOP investigation,if indeed the allegation that fans groups knew of these circumstances and had been interviewed in relation to such and kept it from members is totally unacceptable.

I am shocked that, after reading some of the posts on that blog, to find out they're written by a Rangers fan.

What the blog says

“Mr King was again interviewed by the Executive on 9 December 2015 during which he maintained that the Executive’s field of vision was far too narrow and that they ought to consider the wider context, including in particular the views of Rangers fans and Mr King’s interaction with them. Accordingly, following this interview the Executive apparently spoke to various supporters’ groups.”

Where in Takeover Panel report does it that?
