Reporting that he was appointed and then it fell through. Can anybody else help us get to the objective truth? So Le Guen is not the manager, or head coach, and never has been. Neither has he ever been the 'Technical Director', nor 'Technical Advisor', as he never accepted a post with the Nigerian Football Federation. I had no reason to distrust the first source linked, hence the first reply. And now I have checked it at TM and verified that. Whether manager, coach or technical director, he seems to be working over there. SBS, look, there! A unicorn! Apart from the series of articles, published the very next day, reporting that he declined the post. Followed by a stony silence from the press on the topic since then. No mention of Nigeria on Le Guen's wikipedia page. No reason to distrust them per se. Likewise the TM link above. If they are not up to it so be it and I won't go and whip myself.
