He is in a good job with probably more money and less pressure than with us. His kids(If he has any) will have an easier life at school in Southampton than Glasgow. Some people seem to think the roof has caved in at Ibrox. It is just a case of closing his file and moving on. Wanting someone in a good position would require to offer him a better job - in his opinion. And no matter what our MD might have had to offer, the decision lies with Wilson in this case. We hardly know what he - or any other potential DoF - gets now or has on the table. It's nothing to do with blame, the MD stated quite clearly we were going down the DoF route he didn't state we were appointing Ross Wilson. If we don't appoint a DoF then he looks foolish for stating we were going down that route.
