Ross Wilson turns down Ibrox move

Recommended Posts

I can't believe the meltdown on Rangers websites just because a guy has knocked us back. He is in a good job with probably more money and less pressure than with us. His kids(If he has any) will have an easier life at school in Southampton than Glasgow. Some people seem to think the roof has caved in at Ibrox. It is just a case of closing his file and moving on. He is not the only person in the world suitable for the position.

Who in there right mind would want to leave the English premiership to come and work in Scotland .

A Rangers fan? Or just someone who wants to work for the world's most successful football club? Take your pick.

I too wonder at anyone leaving the EPL to come up here Scotland is really a backwater as far as football is concerned. In saying that with our History I can see why we should be able to attract such person's.

Only if there was only one outcome feasible and one follows the modern day blame-mentality. Wanting someone in a good position would require to offer him a better job - in his opinion. And no matter what our MD might have had to offer, the decision lies with Wilson in this case. We hardly know what he - or any other potential DoF - gets now or has on the table.

It's nothing to do with blame, the MD stated quite clearly we were going down the DoF route he didn't state we were appointing Ross Wilson. If we don't appoint a DoF then he looks foolish for stating we were going down that route. What any potential DoF gets elsewhere is irrelevant to us.
