ian1964 10,724
https://stv.tv/sport/football/1382070-pedro-caixinha-emerges-as-frontrunner-for-rangers-job/ What he might bring to us is some knowledge of the talent out there in the places where he have been. Portugal and Mexico do have a few decent footballers, and we know that some talent is out there in Arabland too, albeit on hilarious wages*. * I would assume that e.g. Vladimir Weiss has earned enough cash to sustain his and his family's life, so money might not be that important any longer.[/QUOTE] He signed a 4 year contract in Jan 2016
Frankie 8,570
He's certainly someone different so very difficult to guess how well he'll do and how well he'll work under a DoF.
der Berliner 3,747
Yep, but with these Arab clubs one never knows. BTW, you wonder whether we take Rowett as interim manager till Cainxinha takes over full time in 4 months, with Rowett becoming assistant. Then again, Robertson said that the new manager will be the permanent one. Well, we shall see.

Anchorman 0
my biggest problem with Caixinha is pronouncing his name..... I looked it up there. It sounds like 'Kai - shin - yi' (Kai as in Kai Johansen, not as in 'Kay' Adams). The emphasis is on the 'Kai' syllable and the rest is quite soft. Every day is a school day.
der Berliner 3,747
my biggest problem with Caixinha is pronouncing his name..... KAI*-sinya or KAI-chinya ... with only the Scots probably able to get that "loch" sound correct *KAI as in Kai Johanson, not any vowel shifting (e.g. quay).
