Well who's next

I have read that Caixinha likes to attack but it seems that he is more pragmatic than I originally thought. That pragmatism probably suits us more with our need to win. It sounds like he has an attacking philosophy, but is a stickler for organisation and recognises that need to adapt, which is a lot more suitable -- potentially -- than MW's wildly idealistic approach.

So, he "follows the tactical periodization methodology of Victor Frade", then.

I can't wait to hearing the Pacific Quay Muppets explaining that, and elaborating on how it will impact on Scottish Fitba', of an evening.

They'll probably come up with some story about him owing 2 weeks national insurance and is currently being investigated or similar.

I think that we will get a story declaring that he has to "flee" the Middle East, for his life, because following

" the tactical periodization methodology of Victor Frade" is unIslamic, and an affront to The Prophet.

Is the investment rumour coming with the new manager just a rumour or is that still meant to be happening??

Unless it was FS's "good news" then I have little hope in that rumour. If it were his good news it would not appear to be linked to the new manager.

However, we can always dream of Qatar's Royal Family keeping a friendly interest in his career....

Pedro Caixinha is "very close" to becoming the new Rangers manager, according to Sky sources.

The 46-year-old Portuguese, who is manager of Al-Gharafa Sports Club in Qatar, is awaiting the blessing of club President Sheikh Jassim Bin Thamer Al Thani before flying from the Middle East to Scotland.

Caixinha and Rangers are confident the move will be finalised in the next few days, and Caixinha could be confirmed as Mark Warburton's successor later this week, before the Old Firm game with Celtic on Sunday.
