Management Resigned ?

Recommended Posts

Not a rumour of any kind and totally nothing to do with Rangers but it was on a Dutch football programme tonight that Frank de Boer had knocked back joining AZ as he proffered to go to a foreign team. I am not sure if Sunny Scotland would fit his wish list though.

This sound right..

..

Imagine if a management team's agent informed a club on Monday that they were triggering the resignation clause in their contract.

Imagine that said agent then attempted to withdraw that demand on the Thursday. Almost as if a job had fallen through.

Imagine if the Chairman then got fed up and decided to call their bluff after seeing the Forest through the trees....

Yup, and imagine they tried to say verbal resignation didn't count without a letter and the club said 'aye, right'.

Reading between the lines looks like they handed in a offer to resign that was accepted by the club but the management team representatives tried to change the deal in favour of MW and co. This new deal was rejected by the board and the first was accepted. Makes the board look amateurish but in truth it says way more about the management team. Looks like we had the wool pulled over our eyes by another charlatan

If the Board took the initiative and the result is that we got rid of all three for nothing then they did the right thing IMO. They were never taking us where we need to be with their signing/loan policy and lack of tactical awareness. I argued earlier that we couldn't get shot mid season for financial reasons but if the Board have achieved this I think it's a good result.

If Warbs & Co took the initiative then it matters not the result is the same. If they did a deal and then didn't stick to it as the statement suggests, then they can fight it out in court and they'll be an out of court settlement; but if it went down the way the Club say then Rangers will have strong case.

This will give a new manager an opportunity to shape the team and line up new recruits for the EL and next season.
