Ser Barristan Selmy 222
He bet on us not against us in fairness http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2422971/Ian-Black-apologises-betting-Rangers.html
Ser Barristan Selmy 222
Got to give him a bit of credit for signing when we were down there but he is obviously a bit of a tool. He had nothing more than flashes of decent play. He may be a contender to make it into Rangers worst XI with the likes of Kyle and Sandaza. Why do we have to give him credit? He earned far more with us than he would have anywhere else and to play in an easy league. That's like the equivalent of a top player going to China.
craig 5,199
He came to us when we were down and out ... and hardly anyone else answered our call. People may say it was for money or his shot at gory, but that's their opinion. He helped us through tier 4 and 3, almost tier 2 as well. He was not a class act, but always gave 100% of what an Ian Black had to offer. Others did not muster that and let us down far more regularly. It is history, but I for one won't say a bad word about players helping us in our hour of need. except Kyle Hutton, eh dB
der Berliner 4,100
except Kyle Hutton, eh dB At the time, yes. Not least since he slated Rangers supporters for telling him to train and play for the jersey rather than hanging about posting cool photos of himself and others having " a great time". Now, he got what he deserved* and so be it. *He had quite a bit of potential pre-admin and would probably have become a good player too, had he taken his chance like McKay. But wasted it all and ended up at ... where does he play again now? Edited January 28, 2017 by der Berliner
Norris Cole 0
Poor Tranmere. Every time I think of Ian Black in a Rangers shirt, I'm a little bit sick in my mouth.
