As for the youngsters, once a game is won (did I just say that), we should give the odd hopeful the chance to impress ... and be impressed by the demand of a few thousand people at their back. Beerman sure was at Man City for a reason, Rudden has been scoring a few goals for the youngsters, while Burt and Gilmour seem to have bags of ability. Other teams field these chaps - mostly out of neessity and lack of money, of course - and thus have them improve their skills at a competitive level. And having the Rangers Swifts playing in the lower league may hone these boy's skills more than sending them to smaller clubs alone (even though that may steel their characters), as they would play with equally talented lads in a team. 0 Quote Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
