Arsenal Sign Cohen Bramall from Hednesford Town

Recommended Posts

We have signed young left-back Cohen Bramall from Hednesford Town in the Northern League Premier Division.

The 20-year-old, who impressed on a recent trial, will join up with Steve Gatting and our under-23s squad.

Cohen has come through non-league football and played with Market Drayton last season.

We’d like to welcome Cohen to the club.

Seems MW isn't the only manager to sign young players from the lower leagues

But enough to play in the Champions League for the same team....

Yes and one in the LC; 2 games in 3 seasons ex the season with us.

I know we won't agree on this but I have said all along that he wouldn't make the grade at Arsenal and that they would transfer him, it's just taken 6 months longer than I said.

Regardless he still played with Arsenal and you implied he really hadn't.

At no point did I ever say he would make it at Arsenal - indeed, given the talent they have at their disposal it was highly unlikely that he would.

However, I'm pretty sure that the Dortmund coaches know more about the game than you and I.... and seems they think the lad has something in his locker...

I was careful to say he hadn't played a league game. I agree he has something in his locker, he passes the ball sideways and backwards very well.

Anyway, moving on to another star of season 2015/16; I see that one Nathan Oduwa who has never played a first team game of any description for Spurs, has featured 9 times on loan for Peterborough Utd this season.

Yes, I'm sure the Dortmund coaches will be looking at signing him so he can make sideways and backwards passes
