Warbs lands US kid skipper Rangers boss Mark Warburton lands US kid skipper Emerson Hyndman on loan from Bournemouth

The midfielder will be sent to Scotland for first-team experience before returning to Dean Court in the summer

RANGERS have snapped up Emerson Hyndman on loan for the rest of the season.

The Bournemouth midfielder, 20, will be sent to Scotland for first-team experience before returning to Dean Court in the summer.

Hyndman has been limited to EFL Cup games this season under Eddie Howe after suffering an injury that limited his pre-season.

But the USA Under-20 captain is set to be part of Mark Warburton’s squad, six months after leaving Fulham for Bournemouth.

Celtic were tracking him at the time, along with Borussia Dortmund and AC Milan.

But he decided on a move to the south coast to stay in England.

Meanwhile, Gers loan target Jon Toral was stuck on the bench as Granada were battered 5-0 by Real Madrid in La Liga.

He’s expected to fly in for talks at Ibrox tomorrow.

Arsenal midfielder Toral played under Warburton at Brentford.

Dosnt bode well for Rossiter situation?? He looked a good player but has glass legs. Many suspected that when we signed him. Halliday and Holt need competition. It looks like MW is happy with CH and RK until the end end of the season. He also seems happy with everything else??

you must be joking, every area of the team needs quality outside GK.

Didn't say I felt that way. MW clearly feels we have enough to get us second spot. If we are talking about challenging for the title then we need to find millions first.

yeah but there is no way MW can be "happy" with what he's watched so far.

Isn't that a bit like saying no manager outside say Barcelona can be happy with what he is watching? The current situation is what it is and if we achieve our targets then both the manager and the fans have to be happy. There is no point in the manager being unhappy he can't have what he would like if the budget was unlimited.

All he can do is be happy to achieve targets and the immediate target is a second place finish which is well within reach in this transitional season. Then take it from there.

I don't suspect DK is overly enthusiastic as he didn't anticipate the mhanky mobs sudden acceleration away from us. MW on the other hand I feel if he was offered second spot before a ball was kicked would have taken it.

Anyway we are debating futile semantics now. All this is irrelevant as we won't challenge unless we receive investment.

On the new American loan signing, i don't know much about him and have not seen any clips?
