Kenny Miller and Clint Hill to be offered new deals at Ibrox

Recommended Posts

A no brainer for both, especially when its earned. A season only lasts 8 or 9 months they cant go down hill in that short period of time. Hill is starting to look the part - I hope Senderos can follow his lead.

The important thing for me is that we have a settled, fit squad going into the euro qualifiers next season which are really early.

Having both these players in the squad rather than not will be an advantage.

Whether they will be 1st picks once the season kicks in is another matter but they should be able to offer backup.

Too busy to go on a full rant but if MW thinks he cannot get a better player in than Kenny Miller for next season then we are not going to be challenging for the title, and he would be as well chucking it.

We won't be challenging for the title TB. Finances won't allow it, and tying up Miller and hill confirms that. Consolidation of second place(if we manage it this season) and cup runs are all we can realistically hope for next season.

Unless we get millions from an investor of course?

Miller appears likely to carry on his habit of scoring important goals for us and came within millimetres of a double at the weekend that could have secured us a point. As for Hill he really looks like he's relishing this challenge and has indisputably earned another year. I'm content to retain the kind of experience these two guys have for the hurdle of Europa league qualification.

If we can get into that group stage we will be leaving the Hearts and sheep of this world far behind and moving another bit closer to the main opponent.
