Glasgow's top cop warns:Don't display offensive banners likely to stir up hate crimes

Recommended Posts

Methink their banners sneaked in last time because they were brought in a day or two before the game, as the "noisy Green Brigade" has their own storage facility within the ground. Obviously, those checking the banners et al at the day of their arrival were of a like-minded, banterous and joyous inclination and probably belonging to the Green Brigade themselves. As we have seen with their anti-Israel and pro-PLO ... ahem Palestine protests, the Police was not interested anyways.

Afterwards, there is some public half-hearted outcry, some sort of investigation and that's that. The odd chap will be spoken to etc. ...

I would be very disappointed if any sort of flag or banner makes it into the ground.

You have hit the "attitude" nail on the head dB! I've always noticed how since this happened at the piggery the Scot squad and media have now moved the narrative so there are 44,000 Bears to magnify should anything untoward occur.

Then as with everything else, including the SC final, all previous events will disappear from the MSM and The Scot Squads remit.

There are Rangers haters and as some who are of a religious persuasion who despise our club. They are at the top of Politics, Policing and the Press in this Country. Until they are unmasked for what they are or replaced, nothing will change.
