Craig Whyte pleads not guilty for first time to charges of fraud related to Rangers takeover

 

 

Craig Whyte has pleaded not guilty for first time to charges of fraud surrounding the takeover of Rangers.

 

Whyte was not present at the High Court in Edinburgh for a further hearing in connection with the regime change at the Ibrox club.

 

The 45-year-old faces two charges - one of fraud and a second allegation under the Companies Act.

 

Details of what were discussed in court this morning cannot be reported for legal reasons.

 

The case was adjourned until a further hearing in February in Edinburgh.

I'm going to close this thread as I don't want people making claims that can cause issues with the case.

 

However, myself or another admin, will update it should the need arise. :)
