There were screams of "lucky to be top 6" long before that. It was always going to take time to adjust. We were also always going to be strong favourites for second. The talk of the manager going was mental though for me. Yes that was one of the worst things about it for me. Losing the manager would be a disaster at this stage yet many actually advocated self inflicted disaster by sacking him when we should be doing everything in our power to keep him for years to come. And yet prior to the last 3 games on the night we lost at Tynecastle we were still in equal second spot on 26 points. That's woeful?
