A RANGERS fan who threw a chair at a man during the Scottish Cup Final disorder has been tagged by a court.

Jordan McArthur, 23, plead guilty to his part in the disorder which marred the final at Hampden Park on May 21.

McArthur, of Bluebell Gardens, Castlemilk, also admitted he acted in an aggressive manner towards Hibernian fans.

he also kicked a man on the head as he lay on the ground during the disorder.

His defence agent told the court that his client was ashamed of his actions and alcohol had been consumed prior to the incident.

Sentencing Sheriff Lindsay Wood told McArthur: “You let Scottish football down.”

He was handed a Football Banning Order for three years and placed under supervision for 12 months.
