Guest brother426
I've always felt that TBB was a great rousing sing a long...but we have to let it go....as long as we sing it no matter the amended words some people will still be 'up to their knees.....' Personally, I used to stop singing at the third line....honest but we have lost the 'f*ni*n' debate...time to move on
Guest Bluetooth
"but we have lost the 'f*ni*n' debate...time to move on" personally I dont recall any debate about it tims complained and told uefa to jump uefa said "How high?" and that was it.......... ffs uefa even found us not guilty initially but that didnt suit the tims so appeals flooded in and we were found guilty top system of justice that
ascender 352
It doesn't matter who "grassed us up" as that's missing the point a bit. We've had more than enough warning to change our behaviour and are now going to start paying the price for not self-policing various problems and also this dignified silence bollocks which DM has been preaching for far too long.
Guest brother426
your right bluetooth...there was no real debate thats where dignified silence gets you but lets face it...'we're up to our knees in f*ni*n blood' was never gonna win us friends
pete 2,499
The Irony of it is now the tims sing it to get at us. Just a shame not all 40.000 can play the flute and have 40.000 flutes belting it out. Actually learning one song on the flute can't be that hard, everyone should buy a cheap flute an learn it.
gisabeer 409
there will always be the assholes who sing the original words.
calscot 0
This is what got me. Why are we not allowed to sing the tune but others are?? Surely that has to be looked into. We abused the privilege of singing the song so have to pay the consequences. If wee Jimmy uses his label machine to mark his name on his own stuff he gets to keep it, if wee Johny uses it to write swear words on household goods he gets it taken away. Basically we cannot be trusted with a song of all things. How shameful are we?

There is nothing wrong with the flute but choosing it in this context even in jest shows just how far we still have to go. The joking needs to stop as it just encourages our main enemies (Bigoted Rangers "fans"). We need to get serious and show that our support is worthy of our great club. Let's stamp out the bigotry instead of just joking about it. If you want to be a Billy Boy make sure it's Billy Struth you want to emulate.
