[FT] Hearts 2 - 0 Rangers

Recommended Posts

The main problem is that our frontline ... as well as the two "flanking" midfielders rotate far too much from their positions and are more often than not missing when it counts. We utilized Miller on the left flank a couple of times and our left wing was a barren space for most of those games, as Miller was everywhere, but not out there (and it is sure not Windass territory either). Which restricted Wallace to go forward that much. If we play Miller and Garner/Waghorn, have them occupy the penalty area. It is probably that simple. Whether the "official" formation is 4-3-3 or 4-4-2, we usually hardly ever play like that after about 15 secs. It is much more like 2 (CHs) -1 (Halliday) - something. Which ain't bad, if people occupy a certain area and utilize it to the best of their abilities.

Easier said than done ...

I don't know of a single bear who doesn't want us to play 2 upfront myself included, not that I'm averse to 4-3-3 it's just that I don't think we really do play 4-3-3

My g-d, did you (and every single bear) just agree with me FS, need to put a stop to that. :D

Now I'll agree with you, it's really 4-5-1 and that's because not even the magic hat can fit square pegs into round holes.

I think he is just called the Hat now. I wonder how long it will be before an e gets put on the end of it. The only magic he has done this season was make Joey Barton disappear.:D

I like the guy and I hope he sorts it out but I am afraid he will need to be more battle-wise than he is now. He is in with the big boys now.
