In Full: Dave King AGM Speech

Recommended Posts

no mention of the absolutely disgraceful scenes the staff and support were forced to endure at the cup final?

very strange.

It's not strange, not 'stirring the pot' is probably a more dignified way of dealing with these idiots in the current climate. We are having to deal with lot's of problems from what happened years ago. We have to accept what's going on just now until we are in a position to challenge them. We are getting there albeit gradually.

Dave King will be just as furious as any Rangers fan at what happened after the final whistle at the 2016 Scottish Cup Final. We could drag up all the misdemeanours against our club but that would deflect from the main job of our Board...Getting us back to where we belong. That's the most important thing above all the negativity that's thrown at the club from the MSM.

nah that has never worked

Hibs chairman Rod Petrie could be new SFA president as early as next summer

i just found it strange that he never even broached the subject considering he was there on the day

even if just to bolster the bunker mentality

just had a read of the king statement. Must admit to being surprised. Most people i had talked to said not much was said but reading over it a lot can be taken from it

1. Mark Warburton will not be sacked this year if results are bad, unless so bad it is deemed to be effecting the long term return on initial purchase share price

2.Mike Ashley is stagnating our progress in more ways than just the erroneous contracts.he is convincing shareholders that our board will effect their return so not to allow them the chance to run the club as they see fit.

3. Future spending will not be based on the hope of European competition income nor secured against that hope.

4. All loans are interest free and unsecured. £13m in total with £6m in purchase price amounts to a larger spend than promised at this point according to King.

5. the board will have to add non supporters to counter shareholder worries. Most likely puts a pin in any notion of fans groups getting an official say on running the club in the near future or unless resolution 11(?) is passed.
