der Berliner 3,999
Well, he wrecked himself with an injury. It is rather surprising that the Greeks set him free rather than what we do with Kranjcar. Unless, of course, he was a wreck before signing and did not tell them ... EDIT: Now AEK have confirmed the former Everton and Manchester City stopper's deal has been mutually terminated with sources in Greece claiming Lescott and his club have fallen out over his rehabilitation programme. http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/former-rangers-target-joleon-lescott-9327692 Seems he's not easily pleased ... aweebluesoandso 290
The Greeks have a saying '' Beware of English men bearing gifts'' I don't know what they were thinking there then?
JFK-1 1,693
Well, he wrecked himself with an injury. EDIT: http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/former-rangers-target-joleon-lescott-9327692 Seems he's not easily pleased ... According to reports he wants to go home to recuperate and they want him in Greece where he can be monitored. I think it's their call when it comes to such a thing and if he insists on defying them then it could be a sacking offence and he's out the door. All that aside it would appear to verify our medical team got it right on this one. Just 4 games and he was crocked. So much for all the accusations at the time of doing the man a bad turn by accusing him of having a dodgy knee which the club didn't even do or at least not publicly. There were rumours going around that the medical team uncovered a knee issue they decided was too much of a risk and if that's true they have been proven 100% correct.
