[FT] RB Leipzig 4 - 0 Rangers

I would imagine so. In that time there is even a chance German TV may be interested in it as it is in the winter stop. They sometimes show these friendlies.

The TV station MDR - covering Saxonia and Thuringia - will screen the game live on free-tv, and should be available via Astra satellite. They start at 15.15 local time (14.15 British time) ...

They may provide a Livestream too, whether that will work with a non-German IP is up for testing:

... which you can do right now. The livestream schedule will be available closer to the game itself. They also might store it in their mediathek ...

As above. I have no idea if it is on RTV. I would think it is Astra 19.2 for German channels.

It has been suggested that Austrian TV station ServusTV will screen the game as well. No schedule as yet, but you can watch it LIVE here ...

Thanks DB. However the last link you gave us here to watch any Sky, BT channels would not allow us in the UK to watch. It messaged " Not allowed in your country."

Here's hoping for this one though.

Well, I can't tell, since I am not living there. I would assume that they weren't allowed showing programmes of the companies like BT and Sky (paid for in Britain) for free.

In any case, there are sites which give you a non-UK IP so you can watch the games via those. (It is what some folk over here do to watch the BBC highlights, which are blocked here.)

The friendly is a different matter though, as it will not be broadcasted by the big stations, only by RTV, methinks. If you try the links above and they work right now, you have a good chance to watch the game LIVE on that day too. If not, you still have the above option and 11 days to check it out ;)

EDIT: Search for headlines such as this via google et al ...

"Watch German TV in UK | How to unblock ZDF, ARD, Pro7, RTL… in Great Britain?" or simply "VPN"

INFORMATION FOR ALL FOLKS COMING IN VIA

BERLIN - SCHÖNEFELD (SFX I think)

The regional train (RE 3717) running from Schönefeld station (which is close by the airport, but not directly at it) to Berlin Hauptbahnhof (central station), where the trains to Leipzig depart of is currently out of service (between Schönefeld to Ostbahnhof).

Anyone coming via Schönefeld (and unless this is fixed by that time), use the local city train (S-Bahn) service instead!

Schönefeld station: use S9 going to Pankow

Get out at Berlin - Ostkreuz and go downstairs to the platform which runs the local trains S5 (to Spandau), S7 (to Potsdam) or S75 (to Westkreuz) ... generally any train that goes to the city centre, as they all will travel through Berlin Hauptbahnhof. Do not enter any train going to Ostbahnhof, just wait for the next one. Travel time between Schönefeld - Ostkreuz - Hauptbahnhof will be about 45 mins.

If you got a ticket for the train from Berlin to Leipzig, it does include the fare from Schönefeld to Hauptbahnhof, as the local trains are run by the main train company too. Don't get confused by any ticket/fare control chap trying to tell you otherwise. Let them have your details if required and simply move on.
