There is no realistic manager available who could carry a baton of what MW has done, he has probably changed a lot off the park that we don't see. Other than Celtic its 1 defeat all season and people want him removed due to 3 or 4 draws - that's incredible. Even if Sam Allardyce came up he would short term thinking and the football wouldn't be great. It shouldn't even be a discussion point at this stage. As for Waghorn - I rate him, he is just having an off period, perhaps not fully recovered from injury. He does a good job on the right but think he should be through the middle more.
