We have players playing a system that they're just not capable of playing. If you have Mascherano and Pique then by all means always play it out from the back, but we have very limited players in defence who just need to be hoofing it if they're in doubt. BrahimHemdani 1 Posted October 23, 2016 Share Posted October 23, 2016 (edited) I think Warburton has looked at this and said that Sinclair is the biggest threat so he has opted for Hodson rather than Tavernier against him (bit like McLeish with Ricksen and Khizanishvili) and with Waghorn yet to recapture his previous form he's opted for Tavernier up front rather than dropping him altogether. But it does seem odd to play a semi final with one striker on tbe pitch and four on the bench. Looks more like 4-4-1-1 but hard to tell from FL. How have we set up?
