We would like to thank all candidates for their participation in the process and the successful candidates will shortly take up their appointments as directors. The 7 people elected are as follows: Craig Houston James Blair William Cowie Iain Leiper Alex Wilson Laura Fawkes Joanne Percival The total number of votes cast was 1385. One thing is obvious, those who gained publicity for various reasons have the most votes, others like Joanne Percival who has worked quietly behind the scenes just made it. Suppose that's not so unusual. And the one guy who got slaughtered by the people overseeing the "independent " election got the fewest. It turned out to be the farce I expected, but there are some who have been elected that should not just concede to anything the club direct them towards. It remains to be seen if they can hold their nerve. Delighted for Joanne, one of the hardest working volunteer Bears I have ever met, and I know she will be a great asset for club1872.
