Celtic fined more than £8k for Palestinian flag protest

Recommended Posts

Surely UEFA, like any disciplinary body, would have a level of repeat offences of any transgression before the punishment for subsequent offences rises.

Why are C1888c being treated differently from any other club? Could Rangers not ask UEFA for clarification of C1888c's punishment for their own future reference?

This would certainly be handy should any further clarifications require to be raised to the CAS level.

A total joke, and shows that UEFA don't care about their rules being flaunted.

A €10,000 fine for what is the latest in a long line of transgressions by Celtic and their fans just gives them carte blanche to continue with the political, racist, bigoted and pro-terrorist attitude that continuously permeates from that club.

I emailed UEFA on this too. Screw the lot of them.

I told UEFA that they are a joke until they actually give them a meaningful fine or close down parts of the stadium. Absolute nonsense of a fine. A club in the CL would piss themselves laughing at that given how much they get for the CL. Drop in the ocean !

The yahoos have their contacts inside UEFA who are corrupt to the core.

Now I wonder what Rangers would have got for a similar offence , probably trial by newspaper first then the BBC then the religious leaders then made play our next four games behind closed doors .that's what I think .
