Foul that never was

Recommended Posts

A foul or not a foul? Who cares? The game should have been over by then. I cannot stand this focus on one decision. It's not the Rangers way and reeks of Septic's paranoid masses.

I think a major difference between us and them is that I have seen absolutely no one even hint it was anything but poor refereeing. When anything goes against them or hibz too for that matter then it's a conspiracy.

If the player gets it up and over the wall there's a limited amount the keeper can do. The kid stuck it in pretty much the only place that Wes couldn't get to.

I felt that too. It wasn't just postage stamp it actually hit the woodwork before going in. Give him another dozen tries at that and he couldn't do it again.

Just watched it again and agree it was well struck but still question Wes's starting position as i'm sure he will.

I don't know if any goalie could have stopped that bar being standing right in front of it. I think he would need to have been right on the post and off the line to stop that. It clipped the post high up in the postage stamp corner. It couldn't have been any more difficult to stop.

Wes almost got to it and my point is if he had been more central in his goal even half a step we would be discussing the save.

Remember we were robbed of 1 point, not three.

Indeed. But if that were Celtic the refs windows would be getting put in, there would be outcry of masonic conspiracies and we would, inevitably, be staring at yet another referees strike. Interestingly enough..... Since Lennon instigated such a thing a few years ago the number of officiating calls that have gone their way since is remarkable. Would like to see the stats but I bet the correlation of that incident and their receipt of dubious calls has increased.

Even if we were only robbed of 1 point, it is still a point we should have had.
