scotjo 19
I was wondering who anyone thinks have been unsung heroes for us over the years, the seasoned pros who go about their business in an efficient and sometimes eye catching manner, but not the kind of headline grabbers or 'stars' as such but probably more important because of this. Here are some I would class in this category Stuart Munro Gary Stevens Kevin Drinkell Nigel Spackman Alex Cleland Alan McLaren David Robertson Stuart McCall Fernando Ricksen Dado Prso
Scott7 6,159
Willie Rae Johnnie Little Willie Telfer I always felt sorry for Willie Rae. Imagne being understudy to Sammy Cox and Ian McColl but there was never a more loyal or more industrious battler for the cause than he. The original list is fine except Dado who got plenty of singing and Ricksen whom I don't see as a hero.
StuGers 477
Arthur Numan. Absolutely loved / loves the club and gave his all for us. He was also a really classy player who we took for granted at the time.
the gunslinger 3,366
Who was taking numan for granted. We knew he was world class from the off and if anything he under performed. The number of games he managed was very disappointing.

Gordon durie maybe - always totally overshadowed by laudrup but scored quite a few goals without being spectacularly good, good Bear as well. MacK1950 2,399
Depends on how far back as I can think of Dave Smith who had unenviable task of following Slim Jim.

StuGers 477
Maybe it was just me as I was dazzled with the other attaching options at the time. Even now I feel that he is a bit forgotten about. Again, maybe just me.
