The former Scotland international reckons banned Barton's time in the Premiership is set to come to an end following his training ground bust-up. But he hopes Rangers' loss will be Forest's gain, telling boss Philippe Montanier to sign up the former Burnley ace. Burns said: “Forest lack leadership. Barton has that. He wants to win and has been unfairly treated in my opinion. "It looks as if Joey’s time north of the border is going to be short-lived. “If that proves the case, then Forest must try to sign him because he is the type of character we need. Somebody who tells it like it is. "Players are too delicate these days.
