Ser Barristan Selmy 222
Liverpool have one of the best managers in the world, but I think they need a lot of investment before they can mount a title challenge.
Scott7 6,004
Burnley 2, Watford 0. Decent start to the season by Burnley.
JFK-1 1,693
I don't know if this presumption that Liverpool will slip up against smaller teams any more than any other contender will simply comes from a blip against Burnley that may or may not happen again but Hull certainly didn't benefit from any such tendency. Six games in and they have scored 4 or more in half of them is some going.

Time will tell.

The opinion of the professional pundits in England is that they are awesome in attack but sporadically suspect in defence which against lesser opposition probably wont be much of a problem overall. And given that they have barrels of money to throw at any apparent deficiency we may even see Klopp pull out a German brick wall defender or two in the next window to make them an even more formidable outfit. At this stage they arguably look like the best of the rest outside City. And speaking of City I hope they turn up in Glasgow tomorrow night looking to match the Barca tally against that lot and I feel they might be going all out because top place in their group could feasibly come down to goal difference.
Scott7 6,004
United 1 Stoke 1. How does this happen? Zillion pound team and star manager at home against tradesmen, albeit pretty competent tradesmen. Might help some of our more incredulous fans to understand Rangers' results v Accies and County.

Rousseau 10,607
Only two teams have really pressed City, and both got a result -- although one was more fortunate than the other!
Rousseau 10,607
Holy S***! Arsenal have just nicked it in the 93rd minute. Not sure about the goal, though: hint of offside and/or handball?
