Gribz 919
4-0 is on. Chelsea looking good. Mourinho's bubble has burst....so negative its unbelievable. Sitting in a huff while Conte is up and down the touchline. Good to see.

In football you need to sign people based on their current success, not what they did years ago. For whatever reason, things are just not clicking for him anymore.

Who was available ? Not saying he was the best out there, I genuinely don't know who was available.
JFK-1 1,693
It's all the worse that he has followed his usual cheque book strategy including a world record fee for a single player and are being outplayed by a Chelsea side who are arguably the poorest of the challengers for the top 4. Chelsea have been beaten by the only two current top 4 teams they have played so far which were Liverpool and Arsenal. There would have to be a staggering improvement if Utd were to make the top 4 this season and so far there are no signs of that happening. They're likely to end the day in 7th position which is the position that got Moyes sacked after just 10 months and nothing like the money Mourinho has already burned through.

A club like Man Utd could get just about anyone, with a few exceptions. 3-0 Chelsea now and I might have to start apologising to Conte soon. Right back in the title race.
craig 5,199
This is a mauling. Horrible defending from Man U there. Nobody tracked Hazard when he laid the ball off. SBS, I am being genuine - you cant just say they could get anyone - eg, they couldn't get Pep, Conte or Ancelotti as they had already committed to other clubs. Who could or would they have got that was available and of the desired standard ?
craig 5,199
Even though this is a mauling.... Chelsea should be down to 10 men after Luiz'z horror challenge on Fellaini

Nobody can say for sure who they could or couldn't get, but given the size of the club and their spending power, it stands to reason they would have as much pull as just about anyone.
