craig 5,199
1 win from their last 6 league games and he's spent a fortune. That suggests to me there must have been lots of superior options. Mourinho is a hugely talented manager, but for whatever reason it just doesn't click for him at all anymore. I was always a huge fan of Mourinho, though not so much of his playing style. If he isn't getting lots of success, then he quickly becomes quite an undesirable proposition. I think he needs to take a bit of time out of the game and try a different league when he returns. But you cant use his record this season as some justification for not appointing him. That would be using a crystal ball at the time if appointment. Edited October 23, 2016 by craig
MacK1950 2,376
Not a follower of the league down south but glad to see that Manchester teams are being made to look sh**e have no time for that city after Euro treatment of pulling plug so that their riot police hiding down side streets got to do their job.
Gribz 850
Mourinhos legacy has gone. He doesn't even look interested. He apparently got his dream job and is making a sham of it. He was never in Sir Alex' league anyway.

Something's gone wrong with him and I don't know what it is. For a decade the guy was unstoppable, but that's been a few years now where everything he touches goes to sh*t. Peculiar. One or two more dodgy seasons and there'll be severe reputational damage.
the gunslinger 3,366
This is a mauling. Horrible defending from Man U there. Nobody tracked Hazard when he laid the ball off. SBS, I am being genuine - you cant just say they could get anyone - eg, they couldn't get Pep, Conte or Ancelotti as they had already committed to other clubs. Who could or would they have got that was available and of the desired standard ? They should have got klopp when he was available. Blind man could see he's in the top 3 bosses in the world. Indeed I'd have him over anyone.

And he is doing it well with average players.
Norris Cole 0
Klopp's a difficult guy to dislike. He's like the cool uncle who'll give you a swatch of his porno mags and a sip of his beer without telling your dad.

And Arsenal are going to be in the position shortly that Wenger will retire and the same question arises... "Who is available"...

Simeone, De boer, Koeman (if Barca don't snap him up), Bergkamp, dare I say Giggs. There will always be managers around.
