craig 5,199
The only real positive for us is Windass. Weve won a watch with this kid. I don't think they are any better than us to be honest - we just haven't really shown up. Only one game in a long season, lots still to play for.
Craigy1881 79
Senderos ffs, we really do miss holt, our midfield 3 have retained the ball as well this season. Windass does look like a good signing and also looking forward to seeing crooks, if i remember reading right he was talked about more highly last season down south.
Ser Barristan Selmy 222
We have no chance whatsoever of winning the league this season. This isn't a very good Celtic team at all, but they're clearly much better than we are.
Craigy1881 79
personally didn't think we did have a chance of winning it this year, very much stilla rebuilding phase. However we need to work out our best 11 soon. Regardless of using the squad we need to start playing a settled 11 so they can gel properly.
aweebluesoandso 290
Footballing lesson today i'm afraid, they were harder working and more technical, we could hardly string a few passes together, they used their subs and we continued to play the same flat way.
craig 5,199
The way we won the Championship last season had people far too confident heading into this year. Remember, we actually only DREW with Celtic in the SC semi. That was when they had an awful manager. They have brought in a better manager and have far greater resources than we have. Anyone being realistic would have been HOPING we could win the league but anyone with any sense of realism would see that it was nothing more than hoping. We have moved up a league whilst Celtic have been performing in this league continually. Next season is where we should expect to be challenging, not this season. Doesn't mean we shouldn't have confidence, but realism should show us the differential between the two teams - and in a sense we can thank our previous custodians for that given the carnage they left behind. They have left the current incumbents with a hand tied behind their back.
Ser Barristan Selmy 222
Our entire team out there today cost a combined total or something like £1.7 million so I'm not really sure what we expect. Sinclair alone cost £3.5m. We're operating in a completely different market from Celtic.
craig 5,199
The game was lost, in my opinion, with the starting line up. Kranjcar would have been on the bench in my line-up with either Halliday or Forrester starting instead.
aweebluesoandso 290
McKay should have been subbed at half time imo.

He's a very talented manager who will be back in the Premiership before long.
