A Challenge To Relish

Recommended Posts

I agree with Warburton. Sure this thing can mean a lot to us fans but it's not the be all and end all of our season. I would rather be beating everybody else all the time than beating them on Saturday then losing to others.

True, but if we lose we likely go 7 points behind them. Early doors still and many games to be played - but that will give them much needed confidence and will deflate us.

A draw is the least we can really afford in this game.

I just hope we all turn up for the game and produce as good a performance as we can. If we get beaten then, so be it.

I just dont want another Cup Final-like game where people suddenly look like it is still pre-season.

Similarly, I also hope the Hooped Horrors will behave, even if they are handed a sound defeat. Given the amount of heat being generated these last few seasons and even now, I wonder how well they can handle it on their own ground. Hampden was different, IMHO.

I have never said before an OF game that id settle for a point, but it would be a good result on Saturday unless it was in a scenario where we was robbed of something. There is nothing to fear though and we have to get that belief into the squad that we can win in the East end like Walter did so well more often than not.

Completely agree DB! They will go into meltdown should we beat them at their midden! Social work and mental health services will be in lock down for the weekend. They have already got us well beaten2/3/4/5-0(even more with some delusionals??) their tiny little minds won't absorb what is taking place in front of them. They will be howling at the moan for the foreseeable future should we get a favourable result!! Mon eh bears?
