The Ragman's Trumpet.

In the interests of fairness (and transparency I suppose), I was asked to guest on Sportsound tomorrow (Thursday) night to discuss Saturday's game.

I politely declined for a couple of reasons - one being the ongoing situation with BBC's coverage of the club.

Well done bear. It wasn't so long ago that Rangers fans were being invited onto programmes only to be ambushed by 2 or 3 folk who held diametrically opposite views.

Leave them to it. Neither me nor any of my mates would be listening anyhow.

Good show Frankie?. I was surprised when I heard Durrant on there last week, although his pal Ferguson is on there regular so probably shouldn't have been surprised. Can't fathom why he went on there?? He's not skint that's for sure.

Anyway, good show for standing our corner!.

If only there were more like yourself, then it's the problem with ex-players giving the media interviews.

There's obviously an argument that if we don't take part then our opinion isn't heard so I don't personally have too much of an issue if another fan fancies the gig but given Celtic fans were also to be on at the same time, the chances of a serious debate were minimal.

You are correct, but I disagree,no Rangers fan should be speaking to the BBC.

Is the Hibs fan still writing for the Record as a Rangers fan?

Jonny has changed his profile which now doesn't mention the Record but when I asked him he didn't reply.
