Craig Gordon replacement

Recommended Posts

Not that high balls are a big feature of our game but if this guy is any good at coming out to collect them it might not be much of a strategy anyway. Unless Rodgers is a midget the guy looks like a giant literally head and shoulders above him.

Rodgers is 5ft 7" Gordon must be 6ft 4.

Cant see us playing any high ball stuff unless big Senderos is good at heading

That's not Gordon it's Dorus de Vries who Rodgers is suspected to fancy in favour of Gordon apparently down to thinking that de Vries has better distribution especially in terms of having the ball at his feet. They're trying to copy our style of Wes playing it out from the back.

I had no idea it was another keeper. Looks a bit like Gordon also.

Rodgers dropped Gordon for that guy in their game with Aberdeen. By all accounts the guy will be replacing him apparently because Rodgers doesn't think Gordon is good enough with the ball at his feet. Ironic for a goalkeeper but that's the breaks when your team is trying to copy Rangers strategies.

How I would love it if he fluffed an attempted pass out on Saturday.

I don't think you can realistically say Rodgers is copying our strategy.

Rodgers has always had his teams playing that way. Further, unless mistaken, I think MW worked FOR Rodgers when Rodgers was implementing these strategies at a previous club. Could be wrong though
