To be fair, Hodson isn't a left-back and more of a stop-gap there than anything else. But if he's half as good as my hero Munro then we're laughing... It's hard to judge his defensive qualities against Peterhead but his stats certainly seem to show a competent player whom we can rely on as back-up in the full-back roles where required. 0 Quote Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

BrahimHemdani 1 Posted August 13, 2016 Share Posted August 13, 2016 Given that, as you say, he is all right foot, which limits his ability to cross into the box, as per Wallace, I thought it was a very sound performance. It would be interesting to know his average pass distance, which I think will be only 10-15 yards and undoubtedly helped his 100% completion rate. He is obviously a right back but can stand in, on the left, the real question is can he displace Tavernier from the team?
