Rangers v Hamilton - Our mission, should we choose to accept it...

Recommended Posts

If argue that a competition that we won't be playing in this year, and the fact that there are 2 transfer windows before we play in it (assuming we do actually make Europe) makes it irrelevant.

Not sure how a competition we aren't entered into is relevant at least a a year before we compete in it.

Europe isn't irrelevant, it's essential. And building a strong team for European participation takes years, not two transfer windows. We should be worrying about what we're doing a hell of a lot longer than just the following season. It's that sort of short term thinking that got us into this mess.

Warburton proved last year that building a team to challenge doesn't take years. European competition is no different.

Were you not one of those that said McCoist's management meant we were 10 yrs behind Celtic ? Only for us to put them out the Scottish Cup ?

Absolutely no consideration given as to whether we can get the players in that we want. And yet you accuse me of short term thinking :roflmao:

At this point banging on about Europe is utterly pointless. Who do we play in Europe this season again ?

At this form I'd take both O'Halloran and Forrester instead of Kranjcar and Miller in the starting line-up. Forrester alone did more than the other two put together and is working tirelessly from back to front, even could have had two goals himself.

Essentially the same old story, we give the opposition a couple of chances and they take one. We had 20, 4 on target and hit the post or find the keeper. Icing on the cake the clear penalty not given and you end up with a draw. Football's like that and we've seen it often enough. We need to take our chances ... it is as "simple" as that.

Europe?wheres that? That was Turgid----in the true sense of the word.

Ive never seen a team malfunction so badly, are we over coached or something?

Poor fare indeed,oh aye i realise fine its early days etc, etc.

Really poor in the first half then picked it up in the second half. If we had played the entire game like we did second half we may have taken the 3 points. The Waghorn issue is now deeply troublesome.
