Rangers v Hamilton - Our mission, should we choose to accept it...

I think there is a lot of negativity in this thread!,aye our performance wasn't as good as normal and the result never went our way but we should could have won that game,we did create a few chances, also I don't get the slaughtering of our defence!,I will obviously wait to watch it again before I can judge,as for their goal it was a cracker and can't see how it was down to bad defending?,nothing is won or lost today,we will improve as the season goes on.

MOTM for was Tavernier easily.

We have just came off the back of a good season, successful season,we have brought in a lot of players so we are moving in the right direction. In one year we have improved on and off the pitch, night and day!.

Just back in from the game. I don't really know where to start?. The midfield was not particularly cohesive to be brutally honest. Niko looked disinterested and was looking for too much time. He was summed up on the half time whistle when he sat in his backside for a good minute before deciding to pick himself up and trudge off. He could very well be a luxury(if you can call it that) we can't afford.

Joey Bart looked OK after the second half subs when Rossiter was doing the graft and it freed him up a bit. Other than that, I didn't think he was over impressive and sure as heck wasn't man of the match.

We had Wes and Halliday wanting a square go with each other, at least they are showing commitment. I felt Forrester when he came on changed things going forward too.

MOTM for me would have been Waggy who worked his socks off, although Taverneir had, I felt, a good game too. A lot more questions than answers today and plenty of food for thought. Especially with Waggy out with his hamstring.

Pretty much agree with your summary, although I did think Tavernier was MOTM but if Waghorn had got it it wouldn't have been wrong as he did work very hard like you say and scored a goal, might have had more but for his free kick hitting the post.

I don't think playing Kranjcar and Barton in the same team worked today, both lack pace, but I'm sure the manager will sort it out?.

Hamilton played for the draw from KO,and stopped us playing mainly through fouling our players and time wasting.

Well we all have our own opinions mate,if we had taken our chances then we would have scored 2 or 3 more?,I thought Tavernier defended well also!.

The performance and result was not good enough, but there is a long hard season ahead and we can only get better than today!
