Disappointed at the reporting of the Waggy/Tav non issues. The two players happy at the club and more committed than ever. Says he is happy with the new signings and everything is looking good for the new season. Couldn't hide his contempt for some of the reporting of the Waggy/Tav issue imho.

Very articulate and composed as usual in his press conference. Also said Dodo will sign tomorrow, Gilks, Hill, Windass, Hodson will start, JB will get half and hour tomorrow and I think he said Niko would start as well?:rfc:

I don't mind the Tav Waggy situation being spoken about in the press. Does anyone really think they wont sign new deals? I reckon its 90% that they do and if they don't and want to go elsewhere, we are in a position to ask for whatever we want. Hopefully everyone else will be looking at this while we are fully focused on what we need to do. I think the key to us winning this league is a good start while they get their act together over in the east end. Hit the ground running and try get out in front.

Also said Dodo will sign tomorrow

I hope this means he is going to be quickly into the team and settled, he looks as if he could add another dimension to our finishing. We should be scoring more goals with all the pressure.

As for Annan we all know what's going to happen. Even if they don't actually try to play a park the bus strategy they're going to be pushed back into it and again we will see a packed box with barely a chink of visible light through it.
