Following the compilation of the 2015/16 Review of Player Misconduct, the Gers were named in first position ahead of Falkirk and Greenock Morton in second and third place respectively. The Light Blues received sixty cautionable offences and played in thirteen matches with no misconduct. A total of 186 disciplinary points were incurred through the campaign which lasted fifty games through league and cup matches. Rangers had an average of 3.72 disciplinary points per match through the season, ahead of second placed Falkirk on 4.15 and below the league average of 5.3 points. Gers boss Mark Warburton was happy to hear news of the award and sung the praises of his squad for their professionalism last season.
