Anyone driving or going to Motherwell game?

Recommended Posts

I'm not on a supporters bus etc as wouldn't take my niece on one for obvious reasons. So, this being my first season doing away games on my own, without the missus, was wondering if anyone would mind a passenger? I don't drink so I won't be a pain in the arse if your driving or if anyone is going on the train, take pity on me, still finding my feet after the better half passing last year!.

How sad do I sound ha ha?

I live in Glasgow mate. Worst comes to worst I can nip on the train, I'm sure I won't be the only one.

If you're going on the train try to get a train to Airbles station which is a relatively short walk from the stadium. The main station in Motherwell is comfortably further away.

Airbles railway station serves the Airbles area of Motherwell, North Lanarkshire in Scotland. It is located 0.8 miles (roughly 1 kilometre) away from Fir Park stadium, home of Motherwell F.C.

Doesn't sound sad at all coop. To be honest I find it inspiring the demeanour and positivity you seem to have after going through such a tragic event in life - losing one's other half is one of, if not the, worst things I could imagine. And you appear to be doing a tremendous job of dealing with it.

I have nothing but respect and admiration for you.

Cheers mate. Appreciate the info. I was asking today about CCC alloc for away games this season and the guy at TO advised it will be done on a game by game basis, depending on our allocation.

Cheers Craig, thanks for the kind words. I took up the Uni course which kept my mind occupied and have taken my life in a different direction. They say it gets easier, it dosnt, but you learn to accept it as best you can, take whatever positives you can, adapt and move forward. It gets better.

It was and is the hardest thing I've been through, but it's a cliche, you get there.

Been a few folk on here with some kind words over the last 9 months, thanks to everyone tbh?

If you are going to go to a lot of games, you should consider joining a RSC. I am sure there will be one not far from you, there are a lot of very well run buses in the Glasgow area that are always looking for new members. It can sometimes be good for getting tickets in addition to your allocation from the TO.

Cheaper transport, good company of fellow bears, ticket chances. What's not to like about that?
